Time to get metaphysical with drag queen, theatre performer and keen tarot card reader Vicky Vox – she really does think outside the box or, indeed, Vox.

The American star memorably joined forces with Drag Race legends Willam and Detox to make music magic with 2012’s ‘Chow Down (at Chick-fil-A)’ and, later, ‘Boy is a Bottom’ – and now she’s coming out on top with her very own YouTube series, The Vicky Vox Project.

What were your rejected drag names?

Shanita Nibbles, Amber Lance and Cindy Whopper.

Describe your drag style in five words.

What fits? Smarter not harder.

Best pick-up line someone has said to you?

It was on a napkin at a buffet: Do you like me? Circle “yes” or “no”.

What’s the worst thing someone could say to you in bed?

“Is my car OK where I parked it? Let me go check” – then, they never come back.

How would (or does) your Grindr profile read?

Everyone should f*** a fattie at least once.

Biggest turn-on?

Confidence.

What is your safe word?

Glissade.

What keeps you awake at night?

[The thought that] semen and sperm are constantly created and new.

If you could be any inanimate object in the world, what would you be?

Everything is energy. Everything is vibrations. Everything is consciousness. Quantum physics dictates that we only observe the separation between us and a toaster.

What would a film of your life be called, and who would star as you?

To Compromise, For What? An indie film. Sundance winner. Then the Oscars. Starring some undiscovered gender-queer trans individual. It’s their career-defining breakout role.

What’s your life motto?

Feel it to heal it.

Which cocktail best suits your personality?

The free ones. It is what is. Take it or leave it. It’s all up to you.

What would your own fragrance be called, and what would the tagline be?

Babbette. A story for everything, just ask Babbette. She’s in the wind.

Your house is on fire: what single item would you save?

Is my dog, Biscuit, an item?

Let’s play Cluedo! You’ve been slayed: who did it, where and with what?

Channing Tatum. With my paycheck. In my living room.

What does your heaven look like?

The complete connection to love. Everything is one.

And your hell?

The complete separation from love… everything is alone.

If you could make contact with a deceased celebrity, who would it be and what would you ask them?

Marylin Monroe. I’m going to need her to tell me which conspiracy theories are accurate!

You’ve been abducted by aliens. What is your parting message to Earth?

“Told y’all, bitches. They have been here the whole time!”

What is you biggest pet peeve?

I hate it as much as I love it. People putting food in their mouth as they are laughing. It’s laughing whilst chewing. It’s awful and hysterical.

Where is your happy place?

Huh? Sorry, I was already there. My home is in my head. My life is in my heart.
