5SOS’s Ashton calls out photoshopping of naked Rolling Stone shoot
By Will Stroude
5 Seconds of Summer have been raising more than few eyebrows with their cheeky new Rolling Stone cover shoot, which saw the Aussie pop rockers don nothing but their birthday suits and some carefully daubed slogans, but now band member Ashton Irwin has accused the publication of photoshopping him to make him look thinner.
The 21-year-old drummer (pictured second from right) took to Twitter this week after noticing that his thighs appear to have been photoshopped to look thinner on the cover.
“They made my thigh skinny, in real life my band calls be quad-zilla lol [sic]” he wrote.

Why anyone would want to reduce a pair of nicely beefy thighs is frankly beyond us, but it doesn’t appear to have diminished Ashton’s love of the cover, which he called “one of the best covers I’d ever imagine we’d have”.
“Me and Michael are touching butts” he added. “That’s a solid butt-touch right there.”

The boys’ accompanying interview also sees band memeber Calum Hood (pictured far left) address his infamous X-rated Snapchat video leak from 2014.
“It was kind of a blessing, in a way, because nothing that bad could actually happen to me again”, the 19-year-old says.
“If another photo of my d**k came out, it will just be, like, “Oh! It’s his d**k again.”‘
The new issue of Rolling Stone is out now.
