Actress Holland Taylor comes out – is she dating Sarah Paulson?
Veteran actress Holland Taylor, 72, has opened up about her sexuality in a new interview, talking about her relationship with a woman – rumoured to be American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson.
Taylor, best known to audiences for a string of long-running small screen roles in shows including The Practice, The Naked Truth and Two And A Half Men, told WYNC’s Sex, Death and Money podcast: “I haven’t come out because I am out. I live out.”
Taylor, who on the big screen has appeared in hits including The Truman Show and Legally Blonde, declined to name her partner – but attention has turned to Paulson, as the pair have been photographed attending several awards ceremonies together. Adding further fuel to the fire, Paulson herself ‘liked’ this tweet from a fan last week declaring the pair the ‘hottest couple’:

While Taylor wouldn’t confirm whether she and Paulson were an item, she did say of her partner: ‘There’s a very high age difference between us which I’m sure shocks a lot of people.” She is 32 years older than Paulson.
Asked whether marriage was on the cards, Taylor said she considered it a “rich symbolic gesture […] that would be very private, something I wouldn’t do publicly”.
Carol star Paulson, 40, has been open about her past relationships with both men and women, but just this month addressed the fact that she’s not a particularly visible out LGBT celebrity, saying she doesn’t feel the need to “define” herself.
“All I can say is, I’ve done both, and I don’t let either experience define me,” she said.
