Adam Lambert: ‘I’ve been with a few closeted Hollywood male celebrities’
By Josh Haggis

Adam Lambert has claimed he’s been with “a few” closeted male Hollywood stars.
Last month’s Attitude cover star, who unveiled his new single Ghost Town last week, has shared his sadness over society’s obsession with stereotyping gay men, which he says forces male celebrities to stay in the closet in order to retain a macho image.
“I’ve been with a few of them. Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that,” he told Glamour magazine. “But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”
The former American Idol finalist went on to add that despite identifying as gay, he slept with a woman in his late 20s.
“I think women are beautiful – and I always notice when girls smell really good. Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women. I have slept with a woman before,” he explained.
“I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was a random thing but I was very curious. It felt great,” he added.
