Adam Lambert has released his brand-new single ‘New Eyes’.
The American Idol runner-up surprised fans back in February with a new song ‘Feel Something’ and now the openly gay singer will be releasing his fourth album ‘Velvet’ later this year – four years after his last album.
But fans can have an exclusive first listen to his new single ‘New Eyes’ where we hear Lambert show off his vocal range with a rock beat in the background – something we have grown to expect from the new Queen frontman.
About his new single, Lambert said: “I wanted my first single to reflect my current state of mind and to bring listeners into a romantic, earthy vibe. New Eyes is a love letter to innocence and to finding new passions.”
The new single – which was written by Lambert, Paris Carney with Jamie Sierota producing – is a step away from his second album, where the former Attitude cover star used inspiration from classic disco, 1990s electronica, funk and dubstep music.
