Since dropping her epic bombshell teaser during last week’s X Factor, the trickle of details about Adele’s long-awaited comeback album is fast becoming a flood.
The record-breaking Someone Like You announced third studio album ’25’ with a heartfelt statement yesterday, and its now been-confirmed that the LP’s lead single will make receive its worldwide premiere TOMORROW (October 23).
Have your tissues ready, people. She might have called this latest record a ‘make-up’ album, but after those haunting “Hello, it’s me” voicemail-style lyrics in the teaser, we don’t think she’ll be straying into EDM territory anytime soon.
From what we know, Rumour Has It producer and One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder has been working on the album, as has Danger Mouse, while Swedish hitmaker Max Martin has reportedly contributed a single.
Pharrell Williams has also revealed that he’s been working with the 27-year-old, praising her as a “masterful writer”.
“She’s kinda like, ‘OK guys, I’m gonna open my diary for 20 minutes’. So it’s like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really,” the NERD star said of working with the star back in June.
“Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she’s off with her beautiful boy – and that’s what it’s all about.”
Eight days and counting…
