After breaking down on stage as she dedicated her show in Antwerp, Belgium, to the victims of Orlando last week, new footage from the concert shows Adele performing draped in a rainbow flag in memory of those who lost their lives.
The attack by 29-year-old Omar Mateen on Pulse club in Florida last weekend (June 12) left 49 dead, sparking an outpouring of public grief.
Having opened her show the following day with an emotional tribute, Adele dedicated the song ‘Make You Feel My Love’ to the victims, performing an emotional rendition while clutching a rainbow flag.
“My gay friends have lost their lives,” she told the crowd. “I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s completely broken my heart.”

The 28-year-old later posted an image of the breathtaking moment on Instagram, showing the “sky of stars” shone by the audience to remember those who died.
Meanwhile, the first funerals for the victims of the Orlando massacre have begun taking place, but grief has been tainted by anger after the Christian fundamentalist Westboro Baptist Church promised to picket the funerals – click here to find out more.
