It’s time to (death)drop everything, because Alyssa Edwards is heading to London for her first-ever West End stage show this summer. Rigga morris!
The legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race queen is set to bring splits and high-kicks (and at least 10 costume changes) to the capital’s Vaudeville Theatre this June in her autobiographical show Alyssa, Memoirs of a Queen!

Written by Brad Loekle and directed by Spencer Noll, the show is set to run for one week only from 7-13 June and tickets are on sale now.
Alyssa, who made her name on the drag pageant circuit in the mid-noughties before establishing herself as a Drag Race icon with appearances on season five and All Stars 2, previously gave fans an insight into her life as a performer and owner of a Texas dance school in 2018 Netflux docuseries Dancing Queen.

Alyssa, Memoirs of a Queen! is billed as the first autobiographical show from a Drag Race star to hit the West End, and the Vaudeville theatre is also set to host an exhibition of Alyssa’s iconic looks during the show’s week-long run.
A source tells Attitude that a UK-wide tour is also set to be announced after the West End season wraps, so expect plenty more Alyssa in the months to come.
Alyssa, Memoirs of a Queen! is at London’s Vaudeville Theatre from 7-13 June. Tickets are on sale now online and via the box office.
