A teaser/promo trailer for American Horror Story: 1984 has been released and it’s definitely a homage to 1980s slasher horrors.
Not much information is known about the upcoming ninth season of Ryan Murphy’s Emmy Award-winning anthology – which is set to start airing in September – but now the first official teaser/promo trailer has been released and we cannot wait.
In the promo trailer, we see a group of young teenagers heading to Camp Redwood – a clear link to the hit Friday the 13th movie franchise.
The group of teens are followed by a mysterious, knife-wielding villain who looks to be taken on the role of the killer this season – another homage back 1980s slasher horrors.
The only information we know at the time of reporting is the full cast including the likes of Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, as well as newcomers Gus Kenworthy, Glee’s Matthew Morrison, DeRon Horton, Zach Villa and Pose star Angelica Ross.
