‘American Horror Story’ casts world’s smallest woman

American Horror Story: Freak Show

has revealed the latest addition to its cast: the world’s smallest living woman.

Jyoti Amge, who is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for her height of 24.7 inches (62.8 cm), will appear in the new season of the horror anthology show alongside returning cast members Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

Series creator Ryan Murphy broke the news on Twitter, sharing a photo of Amge in costume with Lange. See below.

The fourth season of American Horror Story will follow the performers in one of America’s last remaining ‘freak shows’in 1950s Florida. Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett are also returning to play new characters, alongside Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe.

AHS: Freak Show will premiere in the UK on October 1 on FOX.
