‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’: Watch the first trailer

The first full-length trailer for American Horror Story: Freak Show has been released.
The trailer offers a glimpse of some of the characters that will appear in the upcoming fourth season, including Kathy Bates as a bearded lady called Effil Darling.
Bates is seen getting her beard trimmed in the new preview, while Angela Bassett is also seen as a three-breasted woman named Desiree Dupree.
Towards the end of the trailer, Sarah Paulson is glimpsed in character as conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler.
The show’s star, Jessica Lange, recently won the Emmy for Lead Actress in a TV Miniseries or Movie. She will play Elsa Mars, who manages one of the final freak shows in 1950s America.
American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere on the FX network in the US on October 8. In the UK, it will begin later that month on Fox at a date to be confirmed.
