Andy Murray and Anthony Joshua go head to head in celebrity XF Sportbrake tennis match
By Ross Semple
Andy Murray took to the doubles court in a rather unconventional way yesterday (June 14).
Jaguar put on a pop up replica of Wimbledon’s centre court for the world number 1 to play a game with Jimmy Carr against Anthony Joshua and Rob Brydon. Personally, we were very happy to see Anthony in some tennis whites.
The event was put on to celebrate the launch of the new XF Sportbrake, adding to the XF family which has won 190 awards globally to date. The XF saloon’s new Sportbrake has the same impressive performance, design and technology as its saloon sibling, along with a greater practicality and space.
The Sportbrake has sports car derived handling, a 565 litre load space, offering you both style and substance.

Jaguar is in its 3rd year of being the Official Car of the Championships, so it was very fitting that Andy, the reigning champion Wimbledon Champion and world number 1, got to play a bit of grass court tennis to celebrate the new Sportbrake.
He also swapped his trophy for Anthony Joshua’s belt, it’s good to share your toys, boys. After the launch of the XF Sportsbrake, Andy popped his Men’s Singles trophy in the boot of the car so it could embark on nationwide tour of clubs and schools between June 15th-July 2nd.
