Ariana Grande hits back at Piers Morgan for calling out Little Mix for posing nude to ‘sell records’

The 'Good Morning Britain' presenter called for the pop star to come on the show to settle the argument

Ariana Grande hits back at Piers Morgan who called out Little Mix for posing nude “to sell records”.

In their latest video, the Attitude cover stars are pictured sat naked with words such as ugly, fat, stupid and talentless written across their bodies.

However, Morgan called out the X Factor winners and asked them to admit that they stole the idea from the Dixie Chicks – who posed the same way on the cover of Entertainment Weekly back in 2003 – and claimed ‘nudity is the only way to succeed’

After his tweet, Joan Grande – Ariana’s mother – tweeted back to the Good Morning Britain presenter and said: “Honestly what is wrong with you @piersmorgan ? Didn’t your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it!

“You came for @TheEllenShow yesterday which was disgraceful, she is an angel. @LittleMix today, did you ever hear of paying homage? And..well never mind”

Morgan then retaliated and said: “Hi Joan, my mother taught me to speak my mind & never be afraid to express honestly held opinion.

“Ellen’s a hypocrite – and as for Little Mix, I’d just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity. As your own daughter does…!”

Ariana then got involved in the Twitter argument and said how she uses both her talent and her sexuality because that’s her decision.

She wrote: “Ellen is an incredible & kind human being.. I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified.

“it’s OUR choice. & we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next.”

She then continued after Morgan said he would continue call out female artists with millions of young female fans who pose naked to sell records.

Ariana wrote: “also @piersmorgan, i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do.

“i think that’ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what’s left of it.”

The TV presenter then replied: “Now now, young lady – my career’s doing just fine thanks.

“For the record, I criticise/praise everyone – male, female, gender-fluid. Indeed, I’ve written columns praising AND criticising you, and you deserved both.”

Morgan then asked Ariana to come on Good Morning Britain to settle the argument together.
