Ariana Grande shuts down Facebook troll who called her a wh*re

By Ben Kelly

Ariana Grande has shut down a social media user who called her a whore, using her response to complain of the continued double standards between men and women.

After the pop singer posted her ‘Dangerous Woman’ video on Facebook, one user commented on April 1, “Ariana all respect, but dangerous woman I loved but the trouble is that in he video salts like a whore! [sic] …sorry for the rudeness, I only just said the truth…. SORRY.”

The user was so ‘sorry’ they even tagged Grande the response.

A whole nine days passed, but Ariana seized her moment to respond on April 9.

“When will people stop being offended by women showing skin / expressing sexuality?” the 22-year-old wrote.

“Men take their shirts off / express their sexuality on stage, in videos, on Instagram, anywhere they want to… all. the. time.”

The former Nickolodeon star added: “The double standard is so boring and exhausting.”

“With all due respect, I think it’s time you get your head out your ass. Women can love their bodies too”.

Considering Ariana’s comment has almost 2,000 likes, and her troll is trailing on 100, we think we can tell how the majority of her fans feel on the issue.

It’s more proof that Ariana is not one to mess with. When Justin Bieber admired her photos on Instagram earlier this year, she replied with a sassy, “not today Satan.”
