Armie Hammer keeps getting asked to sign peaches.
The unforgettable scene in the Academy Award-winning Call Me By Your Name where Timothee Chalamet masturbates with the fruit has been ingrained in everyone’s minds and will never leave – not that we are complaining!

But it appears even Hammer – who stars as Oliver in the LGBT movie – can’t escape the scene, despite not being involved in the actual act.
While appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Hammer said: “The biggest dead giveaway is they will hand me a peach. Like I get handed a peach or two at least at every stage door.
“The first time someone handed me a peach I was like, ‘Oh thanks’ and they were like, ‘No, no that’s not for you, will you sign it for me?’
“And I was like, ‘You want me to sign a peach?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah’.
“So I have a Sharpie in my hand and I’m like, ‘Oh ok’, so I sign it but as I’m handing it back I go, ‘You’re not going to eat that are you there’s Sharpie on it?’
“And they were like, no – which made me feel better because there’s Sharpie on it. But then I was like, ‘What are you going to do with it?’
“I mean there is something they could do with it that is more disturbing, but the other side is they’re going to put that peach on a shelf because it has my signature, and in ten days it’s going to putrefy and their entire place is gonna be full of fruit flies.”
