Arrow producer Greg Berlanti welcomes son, thanks ‘incredible’ boyfriend Robbie Rogers
Television producer Greg Berlanti works behind the scenes on some of Hollywood’s biggest television shows, but the boyfriend of professional football star Robbie Rogers stolen the spotlight this week with the news that has just become a dad.
The Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, creator’s latest production has been his new son, Caleb, who was born via surrogate over the weekend, reports Gay Star News.
“It is with much pride and love that I introduce to the world my son, Caleb Gene Berlanti. Born February 18, 2016,” Berlanti wrote on Instagram.
“There is nothing I’ve wanted more, or waited for longer, than to be a father. Achieving this dream would not have been possible without the love and support of my wonderful family and surrogate, incredible boyfriend, amazing friends and co-workers that encouraged me and helped me on this remarkable journey.
The 43-year-old added: “Check back in approximately 25-30 years for the tell-all about how I screwed it all up, until then apologies for the over posting of baby photos. My heart is full forever.”
Earlier in the week, Berlanti added he had been setting up the nursery for the newest member of his family. “Baby Berlanti arrival in less than a week,” he wrote.
“Finished setting up crib (crib sheets are supposed to be that tough to put on right?)”
Rogers, who currently plays for football team LA Galaxy added a photo of Caleb to Instagram.
“Welcoming Caleb Gene Berlanti into this world with love and peace. 2/18/2016 the most handsome pure little guy I’ve set my eyes on.”
Congratulations to the new dads!
