A’Whora says relationship with Veronica Green is still ‘a work in progress’ after onstage remarks

A’Whora says she and Veronica Green are “working on it” after some shady comments she made about her Drag Race UK series two sister resurfaced last month.
In an old video clip shared widely across social media, A’Whora is seen playing a game of Snog, Marry, Kill on stage at a public appearance. During it, she says: “I would kill Veronica Mean. Why? Because she’s shit. She’s annoying and she’s a little c*nt backstage.”

She later apologised for the comments in a Twitter statement.
Speaking at the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, powered by Jaguar on Wednesday nigth (6 October), the star joked the pair been “in therapy together.”

A’Whora explained: “It’s a work in progress. We all say things we regret, we all say things when we’re drunk on stage…
“But that’s not an excuse. And it’s also an opportunity to learn.”

Asked who she’s backing to win Drag Race UK SE3, A’Whora – who came dressed in tribute to her camp icon, Vivienne Westwood – said: “I adore my drag sister Krystal, obviously. And I’m going to be working a lot on tour with my friend Victoria Scone. But also Charity Kase, even though she’s a judgey bitch like me!”
