‘Bake Off’ to get its own BBC Two spin-off show

The Great British Bake Off

is to get its own BBC Two spin-off show.

The Great British Bake Off – An Extra Slice will air each week on BBC Two straight after the main show has finished on BBC One.

The spin-off will feature an interview with the contestant that was voted off the show that week – plus a celebrity panel who will look back on the events of the most recent episode.

Previously unseen footage will also be shown, while members of the audience will be asked to bring in their own attempts at baking that the celebrity panel will then judge.

The Great British Bake Off will return later this summer, though the BBC has yet to announce the exact premiere date.
