‘BB’s Zach talks Frankie Grande ‘bromance’: ‘I was a role model’

USA’s Zach Rance has looked back on his ‘bromance’ with fellow housemate Frankie Grande.

Ariana Grande’s gay brother and Rance grew close to each other in the house, with many questioning the latter’s sexuality.

Speaking to Out.com, Rance said: “I’m obviously straight, I’ve made that clear millions of times.

He said that the fact he gave Grande massages has no bearing on his sexuality.

“The fact that I was cuddling with a gay guy, giving him a massage… you know, let’s be real – guys give other guys massages,” he explained. “It’s not a big deal. I don’t care that he was gay.

“I was never afraid that he would try to kiss me. If he tried to kiss me, I would have said, ‘no, it’s not like that,’ and I would have continued to be friends with him.”

The 23-year-old said that he feels like he was “a kind of role model” for the show’s viewers, who may have thought it was strange for a straight guy to be so close with a gay man.

“We don’t know the impact it’s going to have on the world, but it’ll definitely be a positive one,” he concluded.
