‘Beautiful Thing’: Cast for 2015 UK tour announced

The full cast for the new touring production of Beautiful Thing has been confirmed.
As previously announced, former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks will star as Sandra in the play, which returns to the stage in Canterbury in March.
Joining Brooks is Hollyoaks actor Gerard McCarthy as Tony and Vanessa Babirye (Our Girl) as Leah.
Thomas Law, who previously played Peter Beale on EastEnders, has been cast as Ste. Finally, Jamie will be played by Skins star Sam Jackson.
The new touring production of Beautiful Thing has been launched in partnership with Stonewall.
Ruth Hunt, Chief Executive of Stonewall, said: “Beautiful Thing is one of the iconic screen plays of modern gay culture. We’re absolutely thrilled that the UK wide tour of this fantastic production will take this heart-warming story to a new generation whilst also raising money to support Stonewall’s work to tackle bullying in Britain’s schools.”
The UK tour will visit Canterbury, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Guildford, Northampton, Leicester, High Wycombe, Cardiff and Brighton. Click here for more details.
