By Sam Rigby
producers have reportedly approached Paul O’Grady about making an appearance on the comedy series.
They are said to have asked the comedian to resurrect Lily Savage, as they think she would be a perfect fit on the popular series, according to Metro.
“It is so where Lily would go on holiday,” an insider said.
O’Grady rose to fame under the guise of Lily Savage, but decided to retire the act in 2004. He has subsequently become well known for presenting his own chat show, as well as fronting other programmes.
It was recently confirmed that Joan Collins is returning to Benidorm for its seventh series, which is due to air in 2015.
Meanwhile, Nadia Sawalha and Only Fools and Horses actor John Challis will also make guest appearances in new episodes of the comedy.
