Bimini Bon-Boulash has revealed the queens they originally predicted would make the top three in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK SE2.
The Attitude digital cover star was a runner up on SE2 alongside Tayce, and behind winner Lawrence Chaney.
In an interview with Jodie Harsh for Attitude’s Tea Time in association with TAIMI, the LGBTQ Dating, Chat and Social Network App, the star also opened up about the Katie Price Snatch Game jokes that ended up on the cutting room floor, and her DMs with pop icon Ariana Grande.
“Lawrence is a worthy winner”
Bimini told Jodie: “When we first walked in in the first episode, my top three: Lawrence, Asttina and Joe Black. Straight away, off the bat. They were who I envisioned there. So Lawrence is a worthy winner.”
On Snatch Game, they explained: “I obviously got in there ‘never underestimate the Pwicey’ but they didn’t add that! I had to have that, that’s her iconic quote!”
She continued: “I had a joke about retraining in cyber. ‘I used to be the UK’s best glamour model until I retrained and got a job in cyber.'” (A joke seemingly referencing the widely-mocked 2020 government ad that no doubt landed during filming – but might’ve gone over audience’s heads months later!)
Then, on ‘Positions’ singer Ariana, Bims added: “We’ve had a little message. She’s very lovely. She just gets it. It’s true allyship. You can see the fakery [from] the people who are authentic with the support for the community. She is one I feel genuinely does [care].”
