Britney Jean Spears announces new single release date

Britney Spears has announced that her new single will be released in May.
Spears revealed the exciting news in an in-depth interview with People magazine in the US this week, where she said that the single, rumoured to be titled Pretty Girls, will hit iTunes on May 5.
The track, which will feature Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, will be the legendary singer’s first single since 2013’s Perfume. The Slave 4 U hit-maker went on to tease that she’s on holiday at the moment in the hopes of getting a tan before filming the track’s music video “really soon”.
The anticipated collaboration will be the first new music from the Break The Ice singer since she released her eighth studio album Britney Jean. The album – which featured singles Work Bitch and Perfume – failed to match the success of her previous records, peaking at a disappointing Number 34 on the Official UK Albums Chart.
Meanwhile, Spears is rumoured to be gearing up for a major performance at next year’s Superbowl – find out more here.
