Britney Spears likes to paint topless while listening to Mariah

In one of the week’s most puzzling – and amazing – developments, Britney Spears has opened up about about one of her favourite pastimes: painting topless while listening to Mariah Carey’s greatest hits.

The 33-year-old Pretty Girls singers made the surprising admission on Australian radio Dan & Maz yesterday, after saying she “love[s] Mariah Carey still to this day”.

“I was painting in my room,” she explained. “I have an art room and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff – and I bought her greatest hits and new Infinity record yesterday and I was just in there with my top off just like painting and doing all this artsy-fartsy stuff.

“I love her, I love her voice.”

When asked by the presenters whether that was a normal activity for her, Brit made it clear that is was her preorgative.

“In my art room that’s my place,” she told the pair.

It later emerged that the feeling of love was mutual however, after Mariah responded to the news on Twitter, linking to the story and saying that her fellow pop icon was “the best”.
