Bruno Mars’ Super Bowl shows tops Beyoncé, Madonna

Bruno Mars’ Super Bowl Halftime Show has become the most-watched in US TV history.
The Grenade singer’s show – which featured a guest appearance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers – peaked with 115.3 million viewers.
That figure is higher than Beyoncé’s performance last year, which attracted 110.8 million viewers, and Madonna’s previous record of 114 million viewers.
Mars performed his hits Treasure, Runaway Baby and Just The Way You Are for the NFL crowd.
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl in general has become the most watched US TV event ever, with an average of 111.5 million viewers tuning in for the match.
