Can you guess which Madonna album inspired Adele’s ’25’?

Some might try and knock her, but Madonna’s pop culture influence is still being felt as strongly as ever.
In fact, it’s now emerged that one of most eagerly-anticipated records of the decade – Adele’s ’25’ – was partly inspired by the ‘Rebel Heart’ singer’s 1998 classic, Ray of Light.
“You know what I found so amazing about that record?” Adele told Rolling Stone in a new profile. “That’s the record Madonna wrote after having her first child, and for me, it’s her best.
“I was so all over the place after having a child, just because my chemicals were just hitting the f**king roof and shit like that.
“I was just drifting away, and I couldn’t find that many examples for myself where I was like, ‘F**k, they truly came back to themselves,’ until someone was like, ‘Well, obviously, Ray of Light.'”
Adele went on to cite ‘Frozen’ was as a key inspiration from the album, saying: “I took that song as ‘I’ve gotten my confidence to come and do me again’.”
The 27-year-old – who recently admitted that her plans for the future mainly involved trying to see Britney in Vegas – will release her third studio album on November 20.
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres recently unveiled what may well be the best ‘Hello’ parody yet – click here to check it out.
