Can you guess who this massive mid-noughties pop star is?

By Will Stroude

She was one of Britain’s biggest mid-noughties pop stars, and she’s still off making music in the States – but after a dramatic new make-over she looks practically unrecognisable.

Yep, that’s none other than These Words singer Natasha Bedingfield, who debuted a strikingly edgy new look complete with pink rinse, bleached eyebrows and baby bangs at VH1’s 5th Annual Streamy Awards at the Hollywood Palladium last week (September 17).

Natasha originally dyed her hair pink back in May, but sans eyebrows the former BRIT nominee looks almost Gaga-like in appearance. Showing off the new look on Instagram, she wrote: “Change is in the air. Autumn turns the leaves’ colours and So i change my hair.”

The 33-year-old, who released her last studio albumStrip Me, back in 2010, spent the night of the awards with good friend Ciara, calling the Goodies singer – who broke through at a similar time to Nat back in 2004 – “one of my faves”.

“This beauty is just one of my faves every time #ciara . She just gets more and more beautiful”.

To be honest, we’re just wondering how long it took her to work out it was Natasha too. To refresh your memory, here’s Natasha in the video for her 2004 global hit These Words:

Meanwhile, Bedingfield recently debuted her new single Hope in support of beauty brand Philosophy’s Hope & Grace charity initiative, which raises awareness about the stigma of mental illness. You can check out the video below:
