Cast of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race recreate iconic looks for VMAs red carpet
The cast of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race season 2 slayed on the red carpet of MTV’s 2016 VMAs as they decided to dress up as iconic looks from previous years’ shows.
Phi Phi O’Hara, who wore Lady Gaga’s meat dress, revealed that they wanted to pay tribute to the legends.
“There was actually a lot of fighting. We all wanted to be Britney, but we decided to be kind and split it up.”
Alaska decided to recreate Britney’s iconic python look as others dressed as Katy Perry and even Kim Kardashian.
Katya stepped onto the red carpet as Sia while Ginger Minj took on Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’ look.
Whatever look they recreated, we can all agree that they looked fabulous.
The VMAs took place yesterday and we saw Beyoncé take home four awards after storming the stage with a ‘Lemonade’ medley. The show also featured performances from Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande and Britney Spears who returned to the stage after almost a decade.
