Catilyn Jenner to pose nude for Sports Illustrated
Catilyn Jenner is reportedly set to pose naked on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
According to US Weekly, the 66-year-old former Olympian will be sporting “nothing but her Olympic medal and an American flag” as she poses for the leading American sports mag, which is renowned for its racy shoots with female sports stars.
Jenner’s appearance on the magazine’s cover is going to mark the 40th anniversary of winning a gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
The I Am Cait will appear publicly with the medal for the first time since her transition last year, but the revealing medal-themed shoot will not be the first one in her family’s history; echoing her ex-wife Kris’s infamous photos shoot where she was wearing just a flag and medal durin an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The star previously admitted that she had been keeping her medal, which she call her “most-prized possession” at the bottom of her make-up drawer.
In a video showing her taking the medal from the drawer, Catilyn Jenner explains: “I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.
“I didn’t want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven’t displayed my medal.”
Now, she feels the need for change: “all of my kids are adults and out of the house, I think it might be time to put this baby up.”
Taking her medal out of the drawer, Jenner admits: “That was a great time of my life. But to be honest with you, it’s an even greater time of my life right now with what I’m trying to accomplish”.
