By Sam Rigby
Celine Dion has recorded a duet with Miss Piggy and Kermit on the soundtrack for Disney’s The Muppets Most Wanted.
The soundtrack for the sequel will be released on March 24 and also features Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett and Tina Fey.
Celine recorded Something So Right with Miss Piggy, Kermit and the other Muppets, and described the experience as “wonderful”.
She said: “Miss Piggy is wonderful. She’s so charming and sensitive and filled with passion. She has a big heart and it was wonderful to sing with her.”
Miss Piggy added: “I was magnifique. With a little help from moi, I think Celine may have a big future in singing.”
The soundtrack features songs from Bret McKenzie and an original score from Christophe Beck.
McKenzie – who worked on the last Muppets film – said that the songs in the film are “story specific” and “character driven”.
