Step aside Naked Attraction, there’s a new show about genitals on the block.

Channel 4’s My Massive C**k aired on Monday (24 October) as part of the ‘Truth and Dare’ season which has seen the channel return to its radical roots for its 40th anniversary.

“An extra-large penis is an object of desire for many,” reads the synopsis for My Massive C**k. “But for some men, extra-large seriously complicates their lives and relationships, and penis reduction surgery seems the only answer.”

The provocative title indicates the direction of the documentary from the company behind Naked Attraction. However, there is also conversation surrounding more serious topics including fetishisation, hyper-sexualised stereotypes, and penis reduction surgery.

My Massive C**k puts the extra-well-endowed are put under a spotlight to address their personal issues, from struggling to find a girlfriend to pestering jokes in social circles.

During its broadcast on Channel 4 a hashtag for My Massive C**k trended on Twitter in the UK with viewers reacting to the unconventional topic and tone of the doc.

Channel 4’s survey revealed that “one-third of the population have problems with penis size in the bedroom and this affects women more than men.”

However, My Massive C**k is more interested in hearing men’s perspectives on endowment issues as its contributors discuss how they deal with the hardships of their bigger-than-average penis.

Vunerability and social prejudice are topics that naturally arise as this documentary prevails to: “look at the extra-well-endowed, from porn stars and polyamorous couples to those seriously considering penis reduction surgery.”

Addressing a similar topic for Attitude, Jamie Tabberer spoke to Mike Rizzi, a Canadian content creator. Specialising in educational sex content for a predominantly LGBTQ+ audience, he’s noticed how well content does if it involves a penis or underwear.

Of today’s large-penised adult stars he says: “I find it fascinating that it’s something that’s sort of weaponised. You could have a body sculpted by Greek gods, but if your penis size is average or below average, it’s something people [discuss] about you online, in comments sections. Or gossip about celebrities on online forums — it does objectify men.”

My Massive C**k is available to watch on-demand via All 4.
