Charlie Condou has revealed the best celebrity he’s ever worked with – but stopped short of naming the nastiest.
Although he’s dropped a pretty big hint!
The former Coronation Street star took to Twitter yesterday, calling Lord of the Rings actor Viggo Mortensen the “nicest” star he’s encountered.
We can imagine it!
“The absolute best”
“Nicest – Viggo Mortensen was the absolute best when I worked with him,” said Charlie.
Taking my cue from @BridgLondon , who’s the nicest celeb you’ve met? And who’s the nastiest?
Nicest – Viggo Mortensen was the absolute best when I worked with him.
Nastiest – someone I had to work with closely for a long time …..— Charlie Condou (@Charliecondou) January 16, 2021
The actor then added: “Nastiest – someone I had to work with closely for a long time.”
Spill the tea, CC! Although, whoever it is, we’re sure the strained relationship was nothing compared to Corrie’s Gail and Eileen…
As well as ITV soap Corrie, Charlie is known for roles in the 2008 film Good, which starred Viggo, and shows like Holby City, .
The Oscar-nominated Viggo recently directed and starred in the movie Falling, about a gay man dealing with his father’s battle with dementia.
On criticism around straight actors playing gay, he told The Times: “How do you know what my life is? You’re assuming that I’m completely straight. Maybe I am, maybe I’m not. And it’s frankly none of your business.
“I want my movie to work, and I want the character of John to be effective. So if I didn’t think it was a good idea I wouldn’t do it.”
