‘Charmed’ reboot casts it’s fourth major character
The supernatural show has found its new Whitelighter
The upcoming Charmed reboot has finally cast its Whitelighter.
CW’s new fantasy series has been described as a “fierce, funny and feminist” reboot of the original series that takes place in present time and centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they’re witches.
According to TVLine, the CW has cast actor Rupert Evans as the trio’s “devilishly handsome” Whitelighter, Harry.
Evans’ acting credits include Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle, The Village, Rogue and films American Pastoral, The Boy and Tank 432.
The actor will join Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star Ser’Darius Blain as Macy’s boyfriend and actresses Sarah Jeffery and Melonie Diaz as sisters Madison and Mel.
The CW will continue their search to find Macy as well as Mel’s detective girlfriend and Madison’s ex-boyfriend Brian.
Sadly for fans, the reboot, written by Jane The Virgin writers Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin, still has no premiere date.
