Cher and Britney Spears make holiday plans online and it’s the campest thing we’ve ever seen

Cher has become the latest superstar to jump aboard the Free Britney movement – and she’s doing so in typically camp style.
Did you expect anything less?
The campaign to free Britney Spears from her long-running conservatorship – following her highly-publicised personal troubles in 2007 – has gathered steam since the ‘Toxic’ singer’s emotional court plea last month.
Madonna and Miley Cyrus are among the public figures to pledge support for the star online by posting the #FreeBritney hashtag – but ‘Believe’ singer Cher’s contribution has some added pizzazz… not to mention some interaction with Brit herself.

“When #FreeBritney is FINALLY FREE,” the 75-year-old said in a tweet today, “I’m Taking her to San Tropez & We’ll Eat Ice Cream To Her Hearts Content [sic].”
Naturally!
If that sounds somewhat inexplicable, it’s because the star’s post was actually a response to Britney’s latest dancing Insta vid posted a few hours before.
The clip contains a caption which in part reads: “[I’ll] keep my dreams alive by thinking about visiting St. Tropez with @cher and eating ice cream…
“She was one of my favorite singers as a kid and I loved to dress up as her … and thinking about having a six pack like @jlo … Lord she’s so inspiring in her new video !!! [sic]”
