Cher pays tribute to Bob Hoskins: ‘Such a kindhearted man’

Cher has paid tribute to the late Bob Hoskins on Twitter.
She praised the actor’s talent and kind nature, following the news that he died of pneumonia at the age of 71 on Tuesday (April 29).
The singer tweeted: Fell asleep on bus After Columbus.Just woke & Some1 told me about”BOB.”Sucha Kindhearted Man.We Laughed a Lot.SO TALENTED! Hard when ppl Go”
Hoskins, famed for his roles in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Mermaids and Mona Lisa, announced his retirement in 2012 after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Cher went on to talk about her favourite Hoskins film Mrs Henderson Presents, which also stars Judi Dench.
Hoskins’ family said in a statement: “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob.
“Bob died peacefully at hospital last night surrounded by family, following a bout of pneumonia. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time and thank you for your messages of love and support.”
