Cher surprises couple on a date by taking their photo: ‘They didn’t know who I was’

You’d think that someone as famous as Cher would find it hard to go unnoticed these days, but apparently, that’s not the case, as she proved earlier this week.

After seeing the remake of West Side Story, Cher saw a young couple on a date, taking pictures outside the cinema.

Being the lovely person we all know Cher to be, she stopped and took the couple’s picture and posted it on Twitter.

“They didn’t Know Who I was”

The ‘Believe’ singer posted the picture to her account on Tuesday (14 December) saying: “When we were coming out of movie I saw beautiful Couple.He Was taking Her pic….She had flowers I said … can I take your Pic….

“Had my mask on so they didn’t Know Who I was. MAYBE Just a crazy woman.. THAT ME” [sic]

Eventually, the young woman in the image found it and commented: “Omg! That’s me, and it was my birthday! Wow! I can’t believe it!” before her partner tweeted: “Wow! So we really did meet CHER! This night will certainly be remembered forever.”

Naturally, Cher’s fans loved the whole thing with one person saying that Cher HAD to perform at the couple’s wedding.
