Chris Hemsworth is People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2014

Chris Hemsworth has been named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive 2014.
The Avengers actor fought off competition from the likes of Chris Pratt, Jamie Dornan and Bradley Cooper to take this year’s title.
Responding to the news, he told People: “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house.
“I can just say to her [my wife], ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now’.”
Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Chris Pratt is second on this year’s list, closely followed by Jamie Dornan, who will play Christian Grey in next year’s Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
Meanwhile, the top five is completed by Maze Runner actor Ki Hong Lee and The Voice coach Blake Shelton. Previous winner Bradley Cooper, out gay actor Matt Bomer and Eddie Redmayne also feature in this year’s top 10 – check it out in full below:
