Christian woman films insane confrontation with Katy Perry’s dad over his ‘satanic’ daughter

By Will Stroude

It can’t be easy being Katy Perry’s dad. A born-again Christian pastor, Maurice Hudson spends his time preaching to the flock while his daughter spends a considerable portion of her time straddling inflatable bananas and firing whipped cream from her norks. And as a newly published video of him being verbally harassed in Arizona shows, the Bible-bashers aren’t going to let him forget it.

In fairness, this particular religious fanatic seems a cut above the rest. Picked up by Towleroad, the video shows a Christian woman accusing Papa Perry of spawning one of Lucifer’s minions in the form of his Dark Horse-singing daughter, who she calls “a satanic women who’s led millions to hell”.

That’s quite the CV.

The lady in question starts off by approaching Mr Hudson and calling him the “daughter of Katy Perry”, and all just goes south from there really. Telling him Katy “walks with Satan”, she asks: “Did you see her latest video?” before appearing to plugs tracks from the 31-year-old’s multi-million selling 2010 album Teenage Dream.

“Watch her video ‘E.T.'” she says. “Have you seen her video ‘E.T.?!

“I watched the video ‘E.T’. made by your daughter – she’s having sex with demons!”

Explaining the reason for her ire is that “My kid watches your kid’s videos and it’s SENDING HIM TO HELL,” the woman makes it clear that the blame for Katy’s apocalyptic musical output lies squarely with her upbringing.

“You allowed Katy Perry to play in the highway and she is taking you to hell right along with her, including millions of young women and young men who are listening to her videos,” she says, before firing off our favourite new burn: “The fruit of your tree is pretty rotten”.

Check out the footage for yourself below. Maybe she’s more of a Little Monster?
