Conchita Wurst and Dana International are set to make their Eurovision Song Contest comeback.
During an announcement on Monday (April 15), a handful of former Eurovision stars were announced to be making a comeback at this year’s contest in Tel Aviv.
Of the names, Austrian drag queen Conchita Wurst – who won the singing competition back in 2014 – was announced to be taking to the stage to sing Mans Zelmerlow’s 2015 winning song ‘Heroes’.
More than 20 years after Dana International won the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, the first transsexual winner was also announced to be performing during the first semi-final and the grand final.
Although the announcement did not reveal what song she will be performing, it was described as ‘powerful’.
To add to the excitement, the stunning Gal Gadot – star of the Wonder Woman franchise – was also revealed to be attending the song contest this year but what her role will be was not announced.
Last week, Madonna was also announced to be performing at the competition in the Israeli capital.
