Conchita Wurst looks completely unrecognisable after a dramatic makeover
The Eurovision winner has debuted a striking new look.

With her signature Kardashian-esque locks and perfectly-kempt beard, Conchita Wurst has become one of the world’s most recognisable drag queens since winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014.
However, you’d have been hard-pressed to recognise the ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’ singer when she stepped out at the Life Ball charity event in Vienna this week with a dramatic new look.
It looks like Conchita, 29, is channeling her inner Julie Andrews at the moment with a blonde cropped haircut and bleached beard to match.
If there’s one thing we love, it’s a versatile queen.
Conchita’s striking new look comes just weeks after the Austrian star publicly revealed that she is HIV-positive, after an abusive ex-boyfriend threatened to tell the world about her status.
“I will not give anyone the right to frighten me and influence my life in the future,” Conchita – real name Tom Neutwirth – wrote on Instagram at that time.
She added: “I hope to build up courage and take another step against the stigmatization of people who have become infected by HIV.”
