Courteney Cox on Friends: ‘Dear Lord, let it go people!’
By Josh Haggis
Courtney Cox has attempted to put the rumours of a Friends reunion to bed for good.
The popular ensemble sitcom ran for 236 episodes from 1994 to 2004, and rumours of a return for Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe have refused to die down in recent years.
However, in a new interview with Yahoo, Cox has shared her frustrations over fans refusing to drop the rumours, insisting that it’s time people “let it go” for good.
“Dear Lord, let it go people! We’re not doing it. It’s just not gonna happen,” she told Yahoo.
“We’ve not really had a Friends reunion,” she went on to add when talking about meeting up with her former co-stars. “We’ve gotten about 80% there but there’s always one person that flakes at the end.”
It’s fine. We’re fine. We definitely don’t need a reunion.
