Courteney Cox on ‘Friends’ reunion: ‘Not gonna happen’

Courteney Cox has ruled out the possibility of a Friends reunion, saying a new series or film is “not gonna happen”.

The popular ensemble sitcom ran for 236 episodes from 1994 to 2004, and rumours of a return for Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe have refused to die down in recent years.

However, Cox dismissed the possibility of more Friends in an interview on The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday (April 21), explaining that it has even proved impossible to reunite the cast members for a dinner date.

“Let me tell you something, there’s six Friends and I’ve been trying to put together a cast dinner for ten years. It hasn’t happened,” Cox said. “Matt LeBlanc cancelled last time right at the last minute.”
