Craig Revel Horwood says same-sex couples on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ would be ‘easy to achieve’
The openly gay judge has been part of the BBC dance competition since the first series

Craig Revel Horwood has said same-sex couples on Strictly Come Dancing would be an “easy thing to achieve”.
The popular BBC ballroom and latin dance competition returned last Saturday for the first live show of the competition and for the first time in its history, there will be same-sex professional dance routines.
And while appearing on Good Morning Britain on Monday (September 24), the openly gay judge said it would be easy to have same-sex dance couples.
He said: “I’m totally for it. I don’t see why a woman can’t dance with a woman or a man dance with a man, you just have to choose who goes backwards and that’s usually who is shorter.
“It’s an easy thing to achieve.”
Other professional dancers on the show have weighed in in the ongoing debate with Kevin Clifton admitting he wouldn’t have a problem dancing with another man.
However, Anton Du Beke – who is one of the longest running dancers – recently said it would be hard to judge a same-sex dance couple.
