Dannii Minogue has ruled out a return to The X Factor UK – at least for this year.

Minogue, 42, served as a judge on the British show for four years between 2007 and 2010, and joined the panel of the Australian show last year (2013), going on to become the winning judge.

Simon Cowell has already confirmed he is returning to the British show this year, and earlier this month revealed that he is in talks with Cheryl Cole about a potential X Factor comeback for the Call My Name singer.

However, Minogue has now dashed hopes of a return to the classic Cole-Cowell-Minogue-Walsh line-up of the show’s heyday.

“Definitely not coming back to The X Factor UK this year… but never say never [in the future],” she told TellyMix earlier this week.

Dannii Minogue went on to praise her sister Kylie for her good work on the panel of another TV singing contest, BBC1’s The Voice. “I’m just in the spectator seat. I’m just at home watching my sister on The Voice ripping it up,” she said. “It’s nice to arrive seeing so many great comments, I’m Kylie to win, team Kylie!”
