Demi Lovato has unveiled the music video for her latest single, Really Don’t Care.
The video was filmed at LA Pride earlier this month (June), and begins by showing a group of anti-gay protesters.
The overall tone is overwhelmingly positive, though, with the former Disney star performing to the crowd from a gay pride float amid an explosion of colour and spandex.
Gay gossip blogger Perez Hilton and British popstar Cher Lloyd, who adds a guest rap to the track, both make cameo appearances in the video.
Really Don’t Care is taken from the spunky popstar’s self-titled fourth studio album, which reached number ten in the UK last year. The track is the fourth single to be lifted from the album, following Heart Attack, Made in the USA and Lovato’s current UK top 20 hit, Neon Lights.
Meanwhile, Lovato has recently revealed that her late grandfather was gay – click here for the full story.
