Demi Lovato & Michelle Rodriguez have the mother of all girl fights in ‘Confident’ video
By Will Stroude
They might have missed out on a Bad Blood video guest spot, but Demi Lovato and Michelle Rodriguez prove you don’t want to mess with either of them in the unbelievable video for Demi’s new single Confident.
The action-packed video from Sin City director Robert Rodriguez sees the 23-year-old singer play an imprisoned agent who is granted her freedom in exchange for that of fellow bad girl Michelle Rodriguez (who refuses to age about as stubbornly as she refuses she play against type).
What happens next is the undisputed mother of all girl fights, involving martial arts, heavy weaponry, car chases and Demi Lovato launching herself off a prison bus and through the windshield of a moving car. Here’s a little taster reel…
In a word, AWESOME.
The video won’t be available ‘officially’ on Vevo until later tonight, but after premiering during a streaming session earlier today you can watch it here.
Confident is the second single to be taken from Demi’s upcoming fifth studio album of the same name, after the success of UK Top 10 and veritable jam Cool for the Summer.
