Diana Ross injured in limo crash, performs show anyway
By Ben Kelly
Diana Ross was injured in a road traffic accident on Wednesday (April 13) but went on to perform a scheduled show that night regardless.
The 72-year-old Motown legend was apparently hurt when an SUV slammed into her limo in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
USA Today reports that Ross complained of head and neck pain after the crash, and was treated by paramedics at the scene. No one else involved in the crash was hurt.
A 22-year-old woman from New Jersey had been driving the SUV which had to be towed. She was given a traffic citation.
Ross went on to perform her concert at the Sands casino complex that evening, and the following day she let fans on Twitter know she had been in an accident but that they shouldn’t worry.
I was involved in a car accident yesterday, but I’m fine.I ask you not to worry. I will see you tonight at the show in Providence 🙂

She posted the same message on Facebook, adding, “I have a very tiny sore bump on my forehead at my hairline.”
Take care Ms Ross!
