Dolly Parton asks “fine christians” why they think they can judge others

LGBT ally and country singer icon, Dolly Parton, asks why christians who think they’re “fine christians” are judging people.
In a new interview with Larry King, Queen of country music, Dolly Parton speaks out against anti-LGBT christians.
Parton has spoken out on many occasions in support of the LGBT community which hasn’t always gone down too well with some of her christian fans.
We all know and love Dolly for her acceptance of the LGBT community, she even became “the poster child only because I’ve been so outspoken about being accepting of people in general.”
In the interview Parton told Larry: “I do not believe that we should criticize and judge other people – I think we should be accepting and loving,”
“We are all God’s children. We are who we are and we should be allowed to be who we are.”
When Larry asked her if she has ever got any backlash from christian fans she replied simply “Absolutely, oh yes. I get it all the time.”
She then expanded by saying: “I keep saying, “If you’re the fine Christian that you think you are, why are you judging people?’ That’s God’s job. We’re not judges, we’re supposed to love one another, we’re supposed to not judge. We’re not supposed to take vengeance on other people, that’s God’s job.”
Parton finished off answering the question by adding: “I just think that we should be more loving, more caring. We are who we are. If you’re gay, you’re gay. If you’re straight, you’re straight and you should be allowed to be how you are and who you are.”
