Dr Coyle will see you now: Is Nadine changing careers?

By Ben Kelly

We know her best as a singer (and the owner of LA’s Irish Mist), but it seems now that Nadine Coyle may be about to add another string to her bow, as she’s gone back to her studies.

Responding on Instagram to a fan made hoodie which reads, ‘I don’t need therapy, I just need to listen to Nadine Coyle’, the Girls Aloud star commented: “Funny that. I am studying to be a psychiatrist. I could help with another kind therapy (in possibly 10yrs) #medicaldegreehereicome.”

But, fans of the Irish singer’s famous vocal talents shouldn’t be too worried just yet. She added, “ps I’m still a singer.”

The 30 year old has also hinted in recent months at a musical comeback in 2016, having previously teased an album with the edgy sound of bands like London Grammar. She has also been writing with Girls Aloud hit makers Xenomania.

Nadine sold 4.3 million singles and 4 million albums as part of Girls Aloud between 2002 and 2013, and she released her own solo album Insatiable to critical acclaim in 2010. She has since appeared in the Lord of the Dance show Dangerous Games, alongside Michael Flatley, and gave birth to her first child Anaíya in 2014.

We’re thrilled at the prospect of Nadine talking us through our troubles on the couch. In ten years time of course…
