Drag Race All Stars’ Trinity ‘the Tuck’ clarifies they ‘feel trans’ in response to questions about their identity

Drag Race All Stars‘ Trinity ‘The Tuck’ Taylor has said they “feel trans” in response to questions about their “transitional journey”.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 runner-up and All Stars 4 co-winner, who came out as trans non-binary earlier this year and uses she/they pronouns, posted a series of tweets on Friday (24 June)
There’s no guideline for how a trans person should look. I personally don’t know if I will feel comfortable fully physically transitioning at the age I am. This is my own feelings and everyone has their own journey! I by no means am saying my age is too late to transition..

Trinity tweeted: “I just wanna make sure people are aware of a few things. I do not consider myself a trans woman. I feel trans. My actual gender isn’t labeled as I’m very conflicted by a lot of things and how I feel…
“There’s no guideline for how a trans person should look,” they continued.
“I personally don’t know if I will feel comfortable fully physically transitioning at the age I am. This is my own feelings and everyone has their own journey! she said recognising that everyone has their own journey
She also urged people to “do what they are comfortable with”.
“I already have more work done than a lot of trans people and that’s one issue I’m having as far as not sure on more physical work. Just know this is a slow process for me. But over all I am healthy and happy!” Trinity concludes.
Many celebrated her statement and Jiggly Caliente, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 competitor, tweeted her solidarity and support.
“First u don’t owe anyone a fckin explaination on how your transition is going. There’s no guidelines n protocol on being trans,” Caliente wrote.

Trinity is currently appearing in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7 and after a consistent streak has been noted as a favourite to win.
Posting on social media in April, Trinity said she had spoken with friends who are trans to get their insights into her own journey.
“I still don’t know where my journey will take me but I am trans-NB, they shared in a now-deleted Instagram post from April.”
